Class is held live online via Zoom as a cook-along, hands-on session at Pacific Standard time.

In France they call it a tartine, in Italy it’s crostini and in Scandinavian countries it’s Smørrebrød! At its simplest, it is an open faced sandwich on dark rye bread or any other dense bread, with toppings from cheese, pickled vegetables, cured fish and meats, to just about anything you want! In this class we will make a simple seeded crispbread, the perfect vehicle for your Smørrebrød and toppings for a quick assembly and a fun summer lunch.

Registered attendees will receive additional class materials and recipes at least 24 hours prior to the session, and a Zoom video link to join the class will be sent at least 2 hours prior to the start of class.

This is an online, real-time, hands-on cooking class held live via Zoom. Class is limited to 12 attendees to ensure a personal, interactive experience, guided by a moderator fielding questions/comments to the chef instructor. Please have all of the ingredients organized and equipment on hand and your device prepared to join Zoom before the class begins.

Unless otherwise noted, Demonstration classes run approximately 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Hands-on classes generally run 2-1/2 to 3 hours.
