Vera Ciammetti

Vera Ciammetti is a first-generation American of Italian immigrant parents from L’Aquila, Abruzzo. She has worked locally and internationally for the Slow Food organization which addresses issues such as biodiversity, sustainability and fair working conditions. In Vera’s classes, students learn ways to cook meals under 30 minutes, using minimal ingredients, produce in season, and gives many tips on healthy meals and kitchen secrets while respecting the Slow Food principles of good, clean and fair.
