Father Daniel Kiriti
Kenyan Coordinator, Kenya Help
Father Daniel Kiriti is the parish priest of over 22 years for the Catholic parish in Naivasha, Kenya. He was trained at St. Augustine Seminary for philosophy in Bungoma, Kenya, and St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Nairobi for theology. He has a master’s degree in pastoral ministry from Santa Clara University. The focus of his work has been children and young people and fulfilling the need for education, particularly for girls, in Africa.

Draeger’s Cooking School presents a special event featuring Father Daniel Kiriti of Naivasha, Kenya, and Margo McAuliffe, executive director/founder of Kenya Help, an organization that provides resources and support for the benefit of women, children and youth through education and training in the communities of Naivasha District of Kenya. Learn about the food, history and culture of Kenya and efforts to make a difference in this challenged region.

Food will be prepared by Chef Mia Chambers.
In conjunction with this event, Draeger’s HOME will be offering products from Life Bloom Services International, a Kenyan organization that provides skill training and support to vulnerable women and adolescent girls. The products include colorful, unique handmade bags, scarves and other textiles.
