Rima Barkett and Claudia Pruett are busy moms who were introduced to the love of cooking by their Italian mothers and grandmothers. They refined their skills through teaching, catering, owning and operating a restaurant, Cafe Luna Spaghetteria in Stockton, California. After selling the restaurant, they founded A Tavola Together, a non-profit foundation for teaching kids how to cook and enjoy healthy food. They also wrote Cooking Dinner: Simple Italian Family Recipes Everyone Can Make.
